Playing Sounds in Android (Video)
Learn how to play sounds and audio files in Android with the MediaPlayer library in this video tutorial, and download the full project from GitHub.
In this video tutorial we are going to see how to play sounds or audio files in Android. To do that, we are going to use the “MediaPlayer” library that Android provides. There is also another library called “SoundPool” for playing audio that also lets you play around with the sound, playing it faster, balancing it, etc. The catch is that it only plays small audio files, which is why we chose to make this tutorial using the “MediaPlayer” library.
