What I keep

Enter what you invoice and what you spend on the business (excluding VAT), your region and your situation. You will see your Social Security contribution for your real-income band, your IRPF with the state scale and your region's, the VAT you charge that is not yours, and how much to set aside each month so the quarterly returns and the annual one bring no surprises. Every figure comes with the law that sets it.

What it does not cover

It is a simulation for a self-employed individual under the simplified direct assessment method, in a common-regime region with VAT. It does not cover the Basque Country, Navarre, Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla; other income (salary, rentals, savings); tax credits (housing, regional…); or joint filing. It does not replace an adviser: it helps you understand your numbers and check your accountant's.

And issuing invoices?

This tool deliberately does not issue invoices: from 1 July 2027 a self-employed person in Spain must invoice with software adapted to Veri*factu, which sends or signs every invoice, and that cannot be done without a server. The Spanish Tax Agency offers a free app that already complies.
