What is an SLA

An SLA (Service Level Agreement) sets the guaranteed availability percentage of a service. This tool translates that percentage into the allowed downtime, and vice versa.

Percentage → downtime

Enter an availability percentage between 0 and 100 (e.g. 99.9) and the allowed downtime per hour, day, week, month and year is calculated.

Reference table

The table below shows typical SLA values (99% to 99.999%) with their downtime per day, week, month and year.
